MM8 Item offset instructions

We put an auful lot of time and effort into this, we hope it helps you in some way.

One word of warning here!!!
At this time it is best to only edit equiped items, as unequiped items are in a different place in the file
You can only give your self items that your class of character can legaly equip.
***For instance, Don't try to give the Supreme Plate Armor to any one but a knight, you will crash the game.
Or don't try to give your cleric a sword, you will regret it!!!

The weapons are in this format:
Say you have a stone axe, item (1F). If that axe has a (Type 1) enchantment on it like (Stone Axe of Might + 20) 
the first byte would be 1F, (the stone Axe) 
next move 4 bytes and here is the enchantment for might 01 . 
move another 4 bytes and here is the amount of the enchantment 20

So it would look like this:
1F 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 14. (These numbere are all in the hex format.)
1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9   0A   0B   0C   0D   0E   0F   10 (hex)
1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9   10   11    12    13   14   15     16  (Decimal)

If your Axe has a (Type 2 enhancement like of Stone Axe of Carnage, the format is different.
After the 1F (name of the axe) move 12 bytes and enter the hex # 03
1F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 (the 03 is the number for the (of Carnage enhancement.)
(You have to be careful here as some of the type 2 enhancements are only meant for weapons)

Next:
For Armor, the format is like the weapon type 1 enchantments. Don't use type 2 enhancements for any armor including belts, boots, etc.
For a Regnan Leather Armor of Defense + 200, it would be like this:
57 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 C8
(don't go above 255  ( FF) on any enhancement.
